Practice Heat Safety Wherever You Are! Whether you're on the job, in your car, indoors, or outside, it’s important to keep heat safety at the top of your mind! 👷 Job Sites: Listen to your body and follow a set schedule for hydration and rest to prevent heat-related illness. 🚗 Vehicles: Never leave people or pets inside a parked vehicle. Temperatures can rise dangerously fast, even if the windows are cracked. ⛅️ Indoors: Regularly check on elderly neighbors, the sick, and those living alone to make sure they're staying cool and safe. 🌳 Outdoors: When possible, plan your day to avoid being outside for prolonged periods between 3 PM and 5 PM.
