The City of Florence every year hosts an Adult Basketball league. The league is split up into an Industrial Division and an Open Division. All games are held at the Pearl Moore Basketball Center.
The City of Florence Recreation Department offers kickball opportunities for adults. Teams may register at the Administrative Offices of the Recreation Department at the Barnes Street Activity Center or online.
ADULT KICKBALL PROGRAM
Fall 2025 League Information - Registration is open
Registration will run from AUGUST 1 - SEPTEMBER 1
Registration can be done online or in Person at the City of Florence Athletics & Sports Tourism Administrative Offices located at 513 Barnes Street, Florence, SC 29501.
Paying fees and packet pick-up will also be available to teams at the Freedom Florence Recreation Complex.
There will be a mandatory coaches meeting on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2at 8pm - 2nd floor of Freedom Florence Complex.
Rosters, Medical Authorization Release Forms, and Non-Resident Fees are due by the meeting.
There is a $20 non-resident fee for each player not in the city limits.

Adult league games will be played on Tuesday and Thursday evenings
TEAM INFO
Teams must field at least six players and no more than ten.
Teams may have a maximum of twenty players on the roster.
Teams must have the same number of men and women on the field.

ADULT SOFTBALL PROGRAM
FALL 2026 Adult Softball League
Information: Entry fee - $375.00 per team
Registration will run from AUGUST 1 to AUGUST 31ST
Leagues Offered - Each League will be open to the first 12 teams in each division: - Co-Ed - Men's Open
There will be a mandatory team meeting on SEPTEMBER 1ST at 6:30pm - 2nd floor conference room of Freedom Florence Complex Pavilion (1515 Freedom Blvd., Florence, SC 29505).
Rosters, Medical Authorization Release Forms, and Non-Resident Fees are due by the meeting.
Games will begin TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8TH with a 12 game regular season with a double elimination playoff following the end of the regular season.
1 dozen game balls (USSSA Pro-M 44/375) will be given to each team for games. Each team will be responsible for their own balls each game. More balls will be available for purchase through the league if more is needed.
Bats must be USSSA Softball Approved. *1.20 BPF thumbprint sticker must be on bat and visible. *
Co-Ed Softball Rules Co-Ed Teams must have the same number of men and women in the lineup and must alternate batting and fielding order.

The request must be made in person or by email.
Payment Method Credit Card – the money will be added back to your card within 5-7 business day.
Payment Method Cash/Check- A check will be mailed to you within 15 business days.
