As Hurricane Isaias approaches, the City of Florence encourages residents and motorists to remain alert and exercise caution, as heavy rainfall may lead to localized flooding and hazardous road conditions throughout the area. Remember: Turn Around, Don't Drown! Never attempt to drive through flooded roadways, even in an SUV or truck. Floodwaters can be deeper and more dangerous than they appear. Please obey all road closures, barricades, and warning signs, and avoid unnecessary travel during periods of heavy rainfall. Stay safe, Florence, and continue monitoring local weather updates as conditions develop. #CityofFlorenceSC #HurricaneIsaias
