Maintenance Support for Stormwater and City Facilities
While not limited to water and wastewater, the Maintenance Group assists with stormwater infrastructure as needed. Staff also support general City facilities, including recreational areas, athletic fields, city gateways, and downtown street lights.
Maintenance is involved in special events such as the Pecan Festival, Florence After 5, and seasonal activities like installing and removing Christmas decorations. On-call staff provide round-the-clock technical, mechanical, and electrical support for all City departments and facilities.
