City of Florence Accepting Applications for Third Round of South Carolina Opioid Recovery Grant Funding
FLORENCE, S.C. – The City of Florence is now accepting applications for the third round of South Carolina Opioid Recovery Fund (SCORF) grant funding. Eligible organizations are encouraged to apply for funding that supports programs and initiatives aimed at addressing the impact of the opioid epidemic within the Florence community.
The South Carolina Opioid Recovery Fund Board (SCORF Board) was established through the South Carolina Opioid Recovery Act to administer and distribute funds received through settlement agreements resulting from In re South Carolina Opioid Litigation. As a participating political subdivision, the City of Florence is responsible for receiving local funding applications and recommending eligible projects for consideration.
Application Deadline
All completed applications must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026.

Applications received after the deadline cannot be considered.
Review Process
Applications will be evaluated by the City of Florence Opioid Response Commission for compliance with the South Carolina Opioid Recovery Fund requirements and local funding priorities. Funding recommendations will then be presented to Florence City Council for final consideration and approval. Applicants will be notified following the completion of the review and approval process.
