UPDATE: BOIL WATER REPEAL

FLORENCE, SC – The City of Florence precautionary boil water advisory for the businesses and residents located along the 1900 – 2500 Blocks of South Irby Street, 2350 Freedom Boulevard, 2401 Freedom Boulevard, Federal Court, Hutchinson Avenue, Grace Drive, East Carolyn Avenue, and Toledo Scale Road is lifted.

Following intense flushing of the distribution system, bacteriological samples were collected and analyzed by the City of Florence. The results of this sampling indicate that the system is safe to use for drinking and cooking purposes.
