Intersection Closure Planned for Repairs to Cloisters Sewer Lift Station October 21 – 23, 2026

FLORENCE, SC – The City of Florence would like to notify the public that the intersection of Damon Drive and Dix Lane will be temporarily closed from Wednesday, October 21 through Friday, October 23, 2026.  A contractor working on the city’s behalf will be conducting necessary repairs at the Cloisters lift station. 

The attached map indicates the area where the scheduled work will occur.  Motorists are asked to take alternate routes to avoid this area if possible.  If you must travel near the work zone, we urge caution and adherence to all posted detours to ensure everyone’s safety.
