Scheduled Water Repair in Five Points Area Tonight, December 10, 2025

FLORENCE, SC – The City of Florence Utilities Department will conduct a scheduled water leak repair tonight, December 10, 2025, beginning at 11:30 pm in the Five Points Area.
To safely complete the repair, the two inner lanes traveling eastbound and westbound on Palmetto Street will be closed, while all other lanes will remain open.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible. Those who must travel through Five Points are urged to use caution, as crews and equipment will be present throughout the night. Please follow all posted detours and pay close attention to traffic control personnel to ensure everyone’s safety.
At this time, no water service disruptions are anticipated. Should conditions change, the City will provide updates as needed. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to repair this leak.
