It’s Bo-Time AND go time! 😃🏎️
Introducing the Bo-Time Dash, a brand-new racing event for kids from the City of Florence, Parks, Recreation and Sports Tourism in partnership with Bojangles! Kids will take the checkered flags at the Florence Sports Complex at 1200 Jennie O'Bryan Ave. on February 28, 2026 from 10am-noon!
This event is open to kids ages 3-10 to race in either motorized Power Wheels type cars (battery only, no gas engines) or non-motorized cars (Big Wheels) ONLY (no scooters, bikes, etc.). We will feature dragster-type competitive heats to produce winners that will face each other in additional heats to determine final winners.
The first 50 people get free meals on-site from Bojangles! The Bojangles mascot will also join the fun at the event.
While ALL participants will get prizes (such as coupons for two free Bo-Berry biscuits, redeemable at any local Bojangles), with the grand prize being a remote controlled car!
Participants must bring their own vehicle and helmets (cars must be fully charged). You must also register at flotownrec.com---if you do not have an account with us you will need to create one before you can register.
