City of Florence and Duke Energy Partner with Keep Florence Beautiful, Naturally Outdoors, and the SC Forestry Commission for an Earth Day Native Tree Giveaway

FLORENCE, SC – The City of Florence and Duke Energy, in partnership with Naturally Outdoors, Keep Florence Beautiful, and the South Carolina Forestry Commission, will host an Earth Day Native Tree Giveaway on April 29 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, or while supplies last. The event will take place on the back lawn of Naturally Outdoors, located at 2519 W. Palmetto Street. Attendees are encouraged to bring a pickup truck or trailer to transport trees.
Trees will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Representatives from the South Carolina Forestry Commission will be available to provide information on the tree species being given away, discuss planting techniques, and answer any arbor-related questions.
