The City of Florence was recently recognized as the Gold Level Runner-Up for United Way's 2026 Campaign Excellence Award. The Gold Level recognizes organizations with total campaign contributions between $40,000 and $69,999, and City of Florence employees contributed an impressive $52,643.82 during this year's campaign.
For more than 30 years, City of Florence employees have generously supported the United Way of Florence County, contributing an approximate $380,000 since 2017 alone.
