Intersection Closure Rescheduled for Repairs to Cloisters Sewer Lift Station

FLORENCE, SC – The City of Florence would like to notify the public that the planned closure of the intersection of Damon Drive and Dix Lane for repairs to the Cloisters sewer lift station has been rescheduled due to a project delay. 

The intersection will now be temporarily closed from Monday, October 26, 2026 through 12:00pm on Saturday, October 31, 2026 while a contractor working on the City’s behalf completes the necessary repairs.

The attached map indicates the area where the scheduled work will occur. Motorists are asked to take alternate routes to avoid this area if possible. If you must travel near the work zone, we urge caution and adherence to all posted detours to ensure everyone’s safety.
