Road Closure: Hoffmeyer Road Sewer Line Repair Phase II Project Update

FLORENCE, SC – The City of Florence would like to notify the public that the two East bound lanes of Hoffmeyer Road between West Evans Street and Five Points will be temporarily closed to all traffic from Monday, November 9, 2026 through Friday, November 13, 2026. This road closure includes ingress/egress onto Hoffmeyer road from the Florence Mall driveways. The closure is necessary to continue the next phase of the Hoffmeyer Road Sewer Rehabilitation project. Signage will be posted to direct motorists to alternate routes.

The attached map indicates where the scheduled work will occur. Motorists are encouraged to avoid this section of Hoffmeyer Road, if possible, until all repairs are complete and the lanes have reopened. If you must travel near the work zone, we urge caution and adherence to all posted detours and traffic instructions to ensure everyone’s safety.
