Chaquez McCall is a lifelong resident of Florence, South Carolina, a husband, father, attorney, and public servant committed to strengthening the community that raised him. A proud graduate of Wilson High School and Francis Marion University, McCall continued his education at North Carolina Central University School of Law, where he served as a staff editor on the prestigious NCCU Law Review.

McCall is the owner and managing attorney of McCall Law Firm in Florence, where his practice focuses on advocating for individuals and families. In 2020, he was elected to Florence City Council, becoming the youngest person ever elected to the council in the city’s history. He currently serves as chairman of the Finance Committee and the Judicial Review Committee.

Beyond his legal practice and elected service, McCall has remained active in civic, professional, and community leadership. He is a former vice president of the Wilson Alumni Association and serves on the board of The Florence School Foundation. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, the South Carolina Association for Justice, the South Carolina Bar, the Florence County Bar Association, and the National League of Cities. He is also a graduate of the South Carolina Municipal Association’s Advanced Municipal Elected Officials Institute of Government, a 2026 graduate of Leadership South Carolina, and a Hunt Institute State Policy Fellow.

Chaquez is married to Adriane McCall, and they are the proud parents of three children: Amiyah McCall, Chaquez McCall II, and Ava McCall. Together, they attend Monumental Missionary Baptist Church.

In his spare time, McCall enjoys playing basketball and cheering for his beloved South Carolina Gamecocks, even when they break his heart.
