These forms and applications can be filled out online and will be emailed to Planning Department staff, who will review your request and call or email you for payment of any applicable fees or for more information. You can also call or email to ask for applications to be sent to you, or come in person to the Planning Department at any time. Some requests will require more information than can be provided in an online form. Contact the Planning staff with any questions you may have.
- Demolition Permit - used to obtain permission from the City-County Historical Commission before anything is demolished; needed in order to obtain a Demolition Permit from the Building Department.
- Design Review Board Application - used to apply for a Certificate of Appropriateness for projects that require approval from the Design Review Board.
- Certificate of Appropriateness Application - used to apply for a Certificate of Appropriateness for projects that don't require Design Review Board approval.
- Annexation Petition Application - used to apply to the Planning Commission for annexation into the City of Florence.
- Rezoning Application - used to apply to the Planning Commission to rezone property.
- Summary Plat Application- used to submit a plat with four or fewer lots for staff approval before it can be recorded with the County.
- Zoning Compliance Permit Application - used for general development or construction and to obtain a Building Permit.
- Zoning Compliance Permit Application for Use - used to obtain a Business License or Peddler's License.
- Temporary Sales or Special Event Permit Application - used for temporary commercial sales or special events or to install onsite storage or dumpster facilities.
